P.S: If you have a Logitech keyboard with macro keys like I do you can also map the profile cycle to the keyboard instead of the mouse.Pre-configured for optimal MMO use right out of the box. Of course, it's no automatic switching like advertised but until Logitech fixes the issue, that's the best I could find. If you remember the order of your apps you'll know that when it resets to your desktop default you have to click once to switch to the 1st app you copied, twice for the 2nd app you copied, etc. Now go to your mouse settings > Assignments > System and map "Profile cycle" to a key (not the onboard one). On G hub, Go to your games and applications.Ĭlick on the application that's not desktop, duplicate the profile at the bottom, then drag and drop that duplicate to the "desktop application"Ĭlick on desktop, and you should see "default" and the copy of your app profile. (You can do it for more but it becomes confusing). It's annoying but I found a workaround if it's only 1 or 2 extra apps that you need to switch between. How is this still an issue?ĭoes anyone have any advice for getting the profile switcher to wake up without having to restart my computer? I'm honestly out of ideas for trying to fix this, short of uninstalling and reinstalling GHub every time it breaks. This fixes it, but is an unacceptable solution as it wastes all the time I save from using macros.Ī quick google search for "logitech g hub not switching profiles" will bring back tons of results, dating all the way back to 2018.
